  • ABOUT ME

    My name is Teacher Katie. I have a Master's Degree in Business Administration. I have been an online ESL teacher for three years. I have also earned both a TESOL certification and TEFL certification. My tutoring experience spans 15 years with a focus on reading, phonics, math, and science. I concentrate on creating a warm and inviting classroom where students enjoy the learning experience. In addition to my teaching experience, I work for a top university in St. Louis as a program manager for the analytics department for my full-time career. The university also has a global program and many of the students I work with are international students. I look forward to seeing you and teaching you English!

    I use a variety of methods to teach English to new learners. I also offer phonics and reading supplemental classes. Students will be assessed and placed at the appropriate level after the initial assessment.

  • PAYMENT TERMS

     

    Contact me on Wechat or via email to schedule a lesson.

    ⦁ Classes are paid for in advance and arranged with the student.
    ⦁ For new students, I will offer one free lesson for evaluation.
    ⦁ To make an appointment, please contact me on WeChat or the contact button above.
    ⦁ If you need to cancel a class, if you cancel with at least 24 hours notice you will be given full credit for another class. (Please note that Book Club Classes are not able to be canceled due to the group class setting). A make-up single student class is an option. Please reach out to me to arrange a make-up class.
    ⦁ I will stay in the classroom for the entirety of the arranged lesson time. If the student is late to class, I will not be able to stay after the scheduled class time. If the student misses a class, you will still be charged for the lesson if it is not canceled at least 24 hours ahead of time.
